About Me

To sum it up, I'm independent. I like to do what others don't. Most days, I'm a doer, as my friends say. But who I really am every single day is a former military photojournalist with a grad degree focused on international journalism. So, you can guess I'm probably opinionated and ready for action. But I try to remember that there is hope for better and we can make a difference if we try. That comes from my non-druggie hippie-turned-professional parents. They always see the silver lining and think pushing through the bad will get you to the good. I'm always said to be the optimist - happy, supportive and motivated. I sure hope I am! But I want to be more.

I want to make a difference in the world. I want to volunteer, to travel the world and share those memories and images with people who don't get those opportunities; to be super excited about each new day and to be a good friend to everyone who needs one.

Let's see how I do!
